Kristian Larsen - An emulation. (Music/ dance) Kristian Larsen is a New Zealand based artist working in contemporary dance and experimental sound via improvisation and post-disciplinary performance practices sustaining a career in producing and performing his own work for 30 years. An emulation. A solo music and dance recital. A world premiere by one of the most important artists to emerge in one of the centuries. A cheap knock off. Clearly spent too much time in their room by themselves. A collection of gadgets (those can't have been cheap). An astonishing thinker. Lazy. A collection of ideas that never really cohere. An insider posing as an outsider. Out of shape hypercritical overachiever with an extraordinary back catalogue of overnight successes. Mystery guest. https://kristianlarsenperformance.blogspot.com Sarah-Jane Blake – A sound from afar (Performance) Sarah-Jane is an experimental artist, performance designer and deviser. Sarah-Jane presently lives and works in Auckland, NZ. XXXMAHLOVEYOU is a performance text developed with a chorus of singers punctuating with half-remembered jingles and slogans. XXXMAHLOVEYOU is to think about the way advertising takes up space in one’s cranium, residing there rent free. How can we define that space? How many neurons are used up in the storage of this material? What does it mean to be a vessel for this content? http://www.joejowitt.com Community Dinner – Everybody Welcome.
